Abstract
The reality that is happening now is that when facing exams students experience excessive anxiety, this is caused by anxiety about failure. The results of observations that have been made by the researcher explain that the causes of anxiety facing exams at SMA Negeri 1 Gondang are: (1) the environment where students live, (2) the mental condition of students, (3) physical factors, and (4) emotional states that are difficult to control by student. The purpose of this study was to find out "Implementation of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy with Relaxation Techniques to Reduce Anxiety". The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data analysis in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model. Testing the validity of the data using Source Triangulation. So that the results obtained are that the Relaxation Technique is able to reduce the anxiety of facing exams experienced by students. Because it has the effect of calm, relief, and a sense of comfort. So that students can focus on doing the test again.
