Abstract

Ornamental plants are all plants that are planted for aesthetic beauty so that there are various types. Anthurium has a wide variety of leaf motifs and is an advantage that allows you to make new crosses. This study aims to identify and examine the characteristics of consumers of Anthurium ornamental plants and analyze the level of consumer satisfaction of Anthurium ornamental plants in Nglurah Hamlet, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency. This research method using this research method is qualitative and Sampling in this study using the accidental sampling method (accidental sampling), the data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews. The results of the research on consumer satisfaction with the Anthurium ornamental plant, the highest percentage of age is in the vulnerable age group of 20- 30 years, the percentage is 31%, those with high school education are 69% and the consumer jobs are sales assistants, private sector, civil servants, animal husbandry, banking with a percentage of 40%. Then consumers visit ornamental plant centers with a percentage of 73%, variations in plant types with 67% as the reason consumers buy ornamental plants, the number of plants purchased by respondents is less than 3 with a percentage of 72%, consumers want a maximum price with a price range of 0-5 million by 85%, Plants purchased by consumers are of the Anthurium type by 53%. The display in a pot with a WS value of 0.84, the attributes of rarity and uniqueness have a WS value of 0.84, the WS value of plant varieties and prices is 0.84 and 0.84, the results of research on the level of consumer satisfaction with ornamental plants Anthurium in Plant Centers Ornamental is classified as satisfied with the CSI value of 83.80%.
